    Why am I seeking the office of Wake Soil and Water Conservation  District Supervisor (WSWCD) again? I believe that it is incumbent that  we maintain availability, safety, and affordability of our resources in  Wake County. 
  • So I'm asking for your help on Nov 3, 2020,   Re-elect me, Marshall Harvey, to Wake County's Soil and Water  Conservation District Supervisor's position. I will continue to work  hard to help preserve and protect the soil and water in our community.​  I'm located on the second page of your ballot, under Wake County soil  and water.​ ​
    Let's get out and vote!! Early voting is still available from October 15th until 31st.

Community Guidance

  •  The Wake Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD)​ is here to assist  landowners and land users in managing​ soil, water, plants​ and​  wildlife effectively. In addition to​ dedicated technical assistance,  financial assistance is also provided through state and federal programs  to support the implementation of best management practices​ to protect  the land of Wake County and all that it supports.  Wake Soil and  Water Conservation District​ holds conservation easements to help  families conserve farm and forest lands for their legacy.  Wake  County's Soil and Water Conservation staff assists urban farms and  community gardens on a​ voluntary​ basis.​ ​ Technical Services are  provided to landowners in Wake County with natural resource concerns.
